Account and athlete profile
•
Email address, Firebase account identifier, authentication and account-status information.
•
First and last name, date of birth, selected gender, preferred units, height, and weight.
•
Training profile values and progress, including 2K results, FTP and Viking Power targets, calculated power zones, campaigns, badges, and workout history.
PM5, Bluetooth, and workout information
When you connect a Concept2 PM5, Row Forge processes live Bluetooth data needed to program and display the workout. Saved logbook data can include:
•
Workout date and time, workout type, targets, completion status, duration, distance, pace, speed, watts, stroke rate and count, work per stroke, drag factor, intervals, splits, rest time, and rest distance.
•
PM5 calorie totals and calorie-rate values.
•
Heart-rate values received through the PM5, including current, ending, average, minimum, maximum, interval, and recovery values when available.
•
Equipment and connection metadata such as PM5 manufacturer, device and erg type identifiers, connected heart-rate belt identifier, connection state, and session timestamps.
Live stroke and force-curve information may be processed for the on-screen workout experience. We do not retain raw Bluetooth packet logs as a separate history.
Apple Watch and Apple Health
If you enable the Apple Watch workout experience and grant Apple Health permission, Row Forge reads live heart rate and active energy during the current Indoor Rowing workout. Watch heart rate can fill the live display when a recent PM5 heart-rate belt value is not available. Row Forge does not retain a separate history of those live Watch samples. The Watch saves the Indoor Rowing workout and its active energy to Apple Health. Apple Health data is not used for advertising.
Cold Insights and optional wellness context
•
Whether you cold plunged, water temperature, plunge duration, when the plunge ended, and immersion depth.
•
Pre-workout readiness, ambient temperature, sleep duration and quality, caffeine amount and timing, warm-up duration, and post-workout perceived exertion.
Row Forge associates this optional context with the relevant workout to compare your own similar sessions and calculate Cold Insights, including matched-pair and heart-rate-efficiency signals.
Subscriptions and purchases
Native subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play; website subscriptions are purchased through Stripe. We receive the purchase provider, product or plan, subscription or transaction identifier, entitlement and billing state, renewal or expiration dates, trial eligibility results, and related status changes needed to provide and restore cross-platform access. RevenueCat validates native purchases. We do not receive your full card number, Apple ID password, or Google Account password.
Concept2 Online Logbook
If you connect Concept2, we process the OAuth authorization needed to link your account, your Concept2 username and connection state, secure access and refresh credentials on our server, and the workout results you choose or configure Row Forge to upload. We also retain sync status, Concept2 result identifiers, timestamps, and errors so you can understand and retry synchronization. Disconnecting stops new uploads but does not remove workouts already sent to Concept2.
Personalized Training
If you request coaching, we collect your training goals, general availability and time-zone context, and optional notes you provide, which may include training history, equipment, injuries, or other context. Assigned Row Forge coaches and authorized staff may access the profile and workout information needed to deliver the coaching package you select. Coaching access is role-controlled.
Usage, device, and diagnostic information
•
App version, device model, operating-system version, anonymous app-instance identifier, technical logs, stack traces, error messages, and limited screen or action breadcrumbs.
•
Product interactions such as navigation, tab and button choices, workout catalog activity, workout start or finish status, Cold Insights funnel steps, and anonymous subscription-flow events.
•
Browser or device storage used for authentication sessions, security, and app preferences.
Analytics and crash events are designed not to include your name, email, Row Forge user ID, PM5 identifier, logbook-entry ID, exact fitness measurements, heart rate, Cold Insights answers, or subscription identifiers. We do not assign your Row Forge account ID to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.
